About, well, Bondo.
Bondo Intl. was founded in 2021, in a small town in Texas. I was very upset that, if I wanted to look like a old school baller, I had to pay $300+ for a torn to shit, tattered, stained, and beaten down streetball jersey from the likes of PBFashion, Vicious, and other infamous Teams that rocked the classic cotton longsleeve.
I started with a old t shirt press I bought off facebook for 50 bucks, and many, many, many fuck ups. But I quickly mastered DTF printing, and began to embrace the mistakes, the peeling, and of course - the authenticity, and honesty, of making these clothes the same way they did back then. I knew the real ballers would recognize the look immediatley, but I was scared people would'nt buy it, and it would just be a small group of my friends.
And I could'nt have been more wrong.
I quickly began to realize from the demand from social media, other people at fields, and word of mouth (or by camera?) that this was'nt just a "batch of 10 for my friends" type of company. I needed to do more, I needed to branch out, and get uncomfortable. Every drop I made more than the last. I never repeated the same designs. I pushed myself to do better than my peers, and to give my everything to, what I thought, was a dream. But thats the things about dreams - they always start as that.
Dreams.
After making it through the long nights of soaking in sweat at a heatpress, only to take a 2 hour nap before driving 3 hours to practice, the community in my local area loved the idea, and pushed me to where I am now. We had our first booth this year, we have the youtube vlogs up weekly, and now were slowly building our team of creators and homies at the trap, and to be honest, it feels like we've only just started.
